As of late ZLX have embarked on an exciting expansion journey, only recently saw the team move into our fantastic new state-of-the art covid-safe city centre offices!
Coupled with this move we have also saw some changes made internally to support the growth of our business and develop our internal staff.
ZLX have supported and helped various companies make successful R&D claims. In 2020 alone during the pandemic, we managed to claim over £10 million pound for our clients over various industry sectors.
The Head Office team are always there to help and the processes that have evolved and continue to evolve give excellent support at all levels. Never be afraid to ask, no matter how stupid you think you may sound.
This is a young company and I have been watching it gain a personality that has cascaded down from Steve (The MD and founder). I know that when I finally get to meet, we will have a great time. Lock down has probably made us all closer in a weird way.
As a consultant nothing else happens without us opening doors so you are a valuable asset.
The regional zooms are good, and everyone wants to help one another. There are so many possible clients out there that I don’t ever see anyone holding back their help, plenty for everyone!
At ZLX there is base foundation ethos of us being a close knit community, ( you only have to see the banter in our whatsapp group) we work hard and we equally play hard. I feel confident and comfortable at all times to be able to pick up the phone and speak with anybody in head office at all levels of management. There really is a support, grow and success culture that ZLX infuses into its consultant community.

I joined in August 2020 with no really in depth understating of the services that ZLX business solutions was offering, fast forward 6 months later, I have a over 20 client portfolio and consider my understanding of our services and offerings to be of high level, so that’s a testament to the support and training on offer, and the success that you can achieve at ZLX with the right mindset and work ethic.
As an Healthcare R&D business consultant, at ZLX I ultimately provide a platform and advice to healthcare business from all sectors, ranging from primary care, to secondary care and pharmaceuticals on how they can re-coup investments and costs that they have spent on innovation and pushing the UK healthcare market further in the world of healthcare innovation.

Client meetings, support, training and updates from head office, processing and completion of client files and claims, and the best part by far is getting to know and learn all the types of great innovations my clients have come up with and being apart of that journey with them.
My favourite bit of the job is what comes next, learning how their business works and working out their innovation projects. This is always really interesting and forms the basis for my storyboard.
Support is great and always there when needed, be that from the staff at zlx or other consultants. Always friendly and more than happy to assist.
The new training gives a lot more of an insight into how the process works and helps a lot with the storyboard by breaking down each section clearly.
I was introduced to ZLX 7 months ago by a work colleague . I immediately identified an amazing opportunity. No outlay, full training and support and an opportunity to help my contacts claim some cash that was rightfully theirs. My background is in Procurement specialising in food and beverage in the hospitality/ leisure sector which is where my first few claims came from. Here I was getting paid to help my contacts in a struggling industry claim back cash .
ZLX have provided me with ongoing training and support. Nothing is too much trouble for the girls in the office and the weekly zoom calls allows us to chat with consultants up and down the country and to share best practice. At ZLX we are ONE team and everyone is here to help in any way they can. I am personally excited about ZLX and my role as a consultant.

-A day in the life of a ZLX consultant.
Pick an industry, preferably one your acquainted with or central marketing campaign direction, 10am – 1pm Prepare 35 to 50 leads, including number MD’s name and info from their “about us” page, Majority of companies have a project tab on their website, this gives subjects, leverage and angles. 2pm till 4pm pitching, 10 decision makers is the goal of the day. 4-5 Call backs, re-appoints and closing.
